" Greetings from Nathanael, and Thaddaeus: The founders of Reverence Apparel.
Reverence Apparel started from the small ideas, not by connections or resources, but with a simple goal- to honour The Lord through creating clothing. Our journey as 2 brothers started during a time where uncertainty and idleness was strong—a time when life’s direction felt unclear, but the desire to build something with purpose remained strong.
In those moments, sparked the idea for Reverence Apparel. It wasn’t building about a business for the sake of it, or following certain trends; but about creating something that would point back to the Divine. The vision of designing clothes that would serve as daily reminders of faith gave a sense of purpose for the brand.
Nathanael, my brother, and myself, Thaddaeus, have always desired of starting something together, whether it be business, charity, or any mission. Through our bond as brothers, we have developed shared morals and connection which reflect the brand. As followers of Christ, and Gym enthusiasts, we look back at the times where we searched endlessly for comfy clothing, which represented faith, but could be versatile for the gym; nice designs were especially difficult to come across. In certain cases the fit would be awkward, or the garment would be overpriced. Hence, we thought we'd just make it ourselves, and empower people to wear faith driven clothes.
In Reverence, the brand aims to achieve a Stylish, Virtuous, and Comfy vibe, incorporating Streetwear, Gymwear, and Devotion. The word 'Reverence' is defined as deep respect for someone or something. The brand's selection of the word carries a deep meaning of profound awe and respect for God, highlighting our core values of sharing
representing, and living in faith.
From humble beginnings—late nights ideas that we would struggle to keep in our minds, to sketching pieces and sharing the first designs with family and friends—Reverence Apparel was built piece by piece. It’s not just about what you wear, but what you stand for: a commitment to live with purpose.
